27.05.2013 NCC commences development of new office building in central Gothenburg
NCC has now commenced development of another office building in central Gothenburg. The address is Skånegatan 1-3, which is close to Ullevi and within walking distance of Gothenburg Central Station. The project encompasses 19,500 square meters of leasable space and the property is scheduled for completion during the third quarter of 2015.
“This is the third of several properties developed by NCC in the Ullevi area. The first was Ullevi Park 1 in 2009. Ullevigatan 17-19 was completed earlier this year and Skånegatan 1-3 is next in line. The success in Gothenburg confirms that we are offering the right products to our customers and consolidates our position as a leading property developer,” says Mikael Graffman, Head of NCC Property Development’s Swedish operations.
The property will be certified as a GreenBuilding and environmentally assessed according to the international BREEAM certification system. This means that the design will optimize the building’s indoor environment, ecology and lifecycle, while reducing waste and using energy and water efficiently. The premises are being developed in line with the “Future Office by NCC” concept, a Nordic model designed to create attractive and sustainable workplaces for customers.
